In the center of New Kiruna we have designed the interior of the hotel with the shape of Sweden’s highest mountain – Kebnekaise. In the interior the wilderness meets the urban city, where the design is inspired by the surrounding nature and seasons, with details from the hiking and climbing world. The restaurant, bar and reception located on the entrance floor is an interpretation of a traditional base camp. From there, the hike continues up to the top floor, to Kiruna’s one and only skybar with a magnificent view!
