Skandium was founded in London in 1999, with the goal of being the world’s best retailer of Scandinavian design. They immediately gained loyal customers by offering a wide selection, while served by a knowledgeable staff in a balanced environment. The interior mirrors the nordics, with a light colour palette and bright undulating wood panels. The first Skandium store opened on September 15th 1999 at 72 Wigmore Street, London W1.
