Kaupthing Bank

“So, I didn’t expect to find design inspiration for my London flat from a bank in Stockholm’s Stureplan. Yet Iceland’s Kaupthing Bank looked more like the cashier’s floor of a private bank in Geneva than a Nordic high street operator,” says Wallpaper* and Monocle founder Tyler Brule. “Designed by Stockholm architects Koncept, the flagship branch uses its high-profile location as a billboard for the brand as much as a place for withdrawals, deposits and lendings,” Brule continues.
